The combination zoo, game preserve, and theme park is like nothing else
Just the walking to the center of the park gives plenty of proof of that
There may not be many rides, but what they do, they do well
Expedition Everest is the newest addition to the Disney mountain range
The new attraction really rounds out the park, and draws a lot of attention
The journey through the mystery of the Himalayas has a few surprises in store
It doesn't take very long for things to get out of hand
The climax of the ride is an encounter with the culprit
And that's on top of the drops and helixes to remind you it's a roller coaster
The detail and authenticity of even the signage is impressive
Kali River Rapids offers a wild raft ride through some lush scenery
It's almost enough to make you forget that you'll probably end up drenched
After hitting the rides, you can easily spend hours enjoying the wildlife
And unlike most zoos, you really feel like the animals are enjoying themselves too
The Safari ride is a must-do, allowing access to some stunning safari scenes
But don't forget about the walking trails, offering overwhelming sights with or without animals
In addition to the immersive rides and the breathtaking animals, the live shows are another treat
One of the more underwhelming attractions, a spinning wild mouse
The theme is believeable, if not especially inspired
The drops are fun, and the spinning is alright - it's the sudden, jarring stops that are painful
Fortunately, this sign is correct
The Dinorama area is like a roadside carnival, but without deep fried twinkies, why bother?
The animals may turn in after dark, but the beauty of this place is an attraction in itself Back Home |
